20 Sand Sculptures representing the 20 countries at G20 Summit in Diu

Sand Artist Narayan Sahu with his team showcased the Culture and Heritages of 20 participated countries in G20 Summit. The event was held in Diu on the theme "Scientific Challenges and Opportunities for a Sustainable Blue Economy" on May 18-19, 2023.

The team of Imaginations in Sand got an opportunity to showcase 21 individual Sand Sculptures from each of the country highlighting their Culture and Heritage. All these Sand Sculptures were put together inside the event ground of G20 Summit, Diu.


Let's look at the Sand Sculptures created for the countries who attended this event. The countries present in G20 event were India, UK, Norway, South Africa, European Union, Italy, Argentina, Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Russia, Singapore, France, Germany, Spain, South Korea and UAE.


India

The sculptures were created near the entry gate of the G20 summit, and delegates from every country felt included and proud to see their country's flag and sand sculpture. These happy faces say it all.
