A G20 (Group of 20) meeting is the premier forum for international economic cooperation. It plays a crucial role in shaping and strengthening global architecture and governance on all major international economic issues.
Since India holds the G20 presidency for this year, from Dec'22 to Nov'23, there are different G20 summits organised throughout India.
One of the G20 summit was held in Diu on the theme "Scientific Challenges and Opportunities for a Sustainable Blue Economy". The event took place in Diu, May 18-19, 2023.

Sand Artist Narayan Sahu, along with his team, is proud to share that they have completed another successful event where they got an opportunity to showcase 21 individual Sand Sculptures from each of the country highlighting their Culture and Heritage. All these Sand Sculptures were put together at education hub ground of G20 Summit, Diu.

The event was inaugurated by Sri Praful Bhai Patel, who is an administrator and Former Home Minister of Gujarat on behalf of our honourable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi. Other G20 delegates from the following countries attended the inauguration: UK, Norway, South Africa, European Union, Italy, Argentina, Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Russia, Singapore, France, Germany, Spain, South Korea and UAE.
